Mary Jane Magazine 2010 Advertising Rates and Information (pdf)

LEGAL NOTICE: Mary Jane Magazine does not advocate the breaking of any law. We have strict standards regarding the content of advertising and reserve the right to reject any advertising that is in poor taste, or promotes something we believe to be illegal or unhealthy. We don’t accept sex industry advertising.

And we won't accept advertisements offering reward money to anonymous tipsters who suspect pot-growing activity. That would be insane.

In the Sept. 8, 2010 issue of Sound Publishing, Inc.'s "Little Nickel" (Sound is owned by Black Press, Ltd.), Medical Marijuana ads appear next to an ad encouraging readers to "weed out illegal marijuana grows."

"Okay, now wait a minute," you may be saying. "On Mary Jane's website, I see Google ads for drugfreeworld.org and stuff like that. Hypocrisy?"

Not really. Google ads are generated without our input or knowledge. We're always curious -- and sometimes surprised -- to see what they come up with.

Mary Jane Magazine is for consenting adults. It is absolutely not to be possessed by minors. It is for informational purposes only. Our lawyers have advised us that we recommend to our readers that they contact local law-enforcement officials before undertaking any project inspired by any of the contents of this magazine.* But don’t bother contacting the Federal Government, because they don’t recognize Washington State laws regarding medical marijuana. Be respectful of that: it’s no joke.

We are not responsible for, nor do we assume any liability for, damages resulting from the use of information in this magazine. Of course not! Our cherished First Amendment press freedoms (enacted on December 15, 1791) allow us to print just about anything we damn well please.
